Kevin Scholl is a user experience (UX) professional living and working in central Virginia, USA. With over a decade of experience, he specializes in the architecture, design, and development of small- to medium-sized Web sites and application interfaces. He emphasizes clean, attractive solutions with special attention to human usability.

Kevin is also a big motion picture fan, and continues to grow a large collection of DVDs. Among his favorite genres are science fiction and suspense, though he enjoys movies of all kinds.

Introduction

The realm of visual communications is about conveying a message. The most visually-stunning presentation is useless if the person looking at it cannot determine its purpose or realize its information. My mantra plays to those ideals: Be creative but maintain simplicity.

I strive to design and build clean, aesthetically-pleasing interfaces using accepted industry standards. The results emphasize usability and accessibility, as well as ease of maintenance.
